I have a question that one of you might be able to answer.
So you know how you get an email when someone leaves you a comment?
When I reply, most of the time, the address comes up as no-reply @ blogger...etc. Occasionally, the person's actual email address shows up and you can email them back.
How do we all fix this so that we can personally respond to all our lovely comments?
I bet some of you are sitting there thinking that you've been replying all this time to comments, and you wondered why you never got an answer, perhaps?! :)
I think that it only shows an actual email address when that blogger lists their email on their settings. That is my best understanding of how it works.
ReplyDeleteYes, what Melissa said, from what I've been told only bloggers who have their email set on their settings correctly are the ones you will be able to respond to.
ReplyDeleteHmm, I'm wondering exactly what that setting is. As far as I know, mine should work, but I'd like to explain to everyone what to do.
ReplyDeleteLike everyone else said, Bloggers decide whether or not they want their e-mail connected to their Blogger ID, so they have to elect to have that happen. It makes following up on comments very difficult and I think many of us would like it if everyone allowed this. Just for you, I went and played around until I found where you can do this.
ReplyDeleteGo to your Dashboard and next to your profile picture, click on edit profile. Then click on the box that says show my e-mail address. Easy peasy. :)
